Villa Secunda is the perfect holiday getaway for relaxing and enjoying the sand, sea, sails, and mountain scenery. It is a luxury apartment with a Provencal feel, built into the mountainside in the heart of the Old Village and is owned and run by Jill Davies.

The views from most of the rooms and the covered verandah are spectacular with sea and mountain vistas and you can gaze past the yachts in the bay across to Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak.

The villa offers every comfort to make your visit memorable, being only 200m from the beach and a short stroll to the blue-flag Bikini Beach , the old harbour and the many beachfront cafes.

Come and visit any time of the year as in Gordon’s Bay our winters are generally mild and one can still happily braai ( barbecue) with the electric griller and eat “al fresco” on the protected verandah , even in the cooler months. In summer, the deep overhang gives protection from the hot sun.

The open plan living room features Italian sofas, a refectory dining table and a small granite-topped kitchen.

There is a lavender filled garden terrace on a lower level with a built-in braai (barbecue), rustic table and benches and sun-loungers.

Both en-suite bedrooms are spacious, one with a Queen size mahogany sleigh bed and chaise longue, the other with a Queen size bed and French touches such as a shuttered window and white muslin blinds.

There is an option of a separate, small single room with a lovely seaview suitable for an adult or child over 8yrs. at a small supplementary charge.

Bathrooms have underfloor heating and heated towel rails for winter days.
