We are happy to be of service to you!

Sonwabile is a Xhosa word which means ‘we are happy’.
(Son-wa-bee-ly)
Sonwabile was established in 2002.
We are interested in sharing the history and experiences in Cape Town and surrounding areas, with visitors who are eager to hear our story.
This beautiful city, with its pristine beaches, magnificent mountains and vistas, needs to be shared with visitors who are here for the first time.
For friendly, efficient and professional service, call us to take you on an exciting, unforgettable experience.

Tours are offered to various places in the Cape Town area:
Tours around the Cape Peninsula include stops at Hout Bay, Cape Point, Penguin Colony, Simons Town, Table Mountain ( optional - weather permitting) and a drive past Camps Bay, Clifton – the most sought after addresses, along the Atlantic Seaboard.

The Winelands Tour offers you a beautiful view of the various mountain ranges in the Cape. We visit a cellar and do some wine tasting. We also visit a Cheetah Outreach Programme, to experience what wonderful work is being done to prevent these beautiful creatures from becoming extinct.

A visit through the historical town of Stellenbosch, with the University Campus spanning a large part of the town is also not to be missed.
Paarl, the home of KWV and Franschhoek (the French Corner) are scenic places not to be overlooked!
A visit to the Townships in and around the Cape: A Visit to various projects, thereby seeing just how innovative people are, is a must.
We visit a craft market, weaving centre, the smallest hotel in SA, a pre-primary school, and a restaurant among other places.
The City Tour is a walkabout through the historical garden as built by Jan van Riebeeck when the Cape was the refreshment station for ships going to the East. One also sees the beautiful architecture as done by Anton Anreith and Louis Thibault in the late 1800’s.
We also visit the Castle of Good Hope, National Museum, City Hall (where ex President Nelson Mandela delivered his first speech after his imprisonment), and many other historical places.

A day Safari is within your reach if you are unable to get to the bigger parks in South Africa, to view free-roaming game.
